Any Guernsey resident, aged between 18-70, who is in employment can apply.
You can borrow from between £500 - £25,000 on an unsecured basis. In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to lend more, please come in and we can talk about it.
Our rates vary, and every application is different. The rates applied will depend upon your personal circumstances and how much you want to borrow.
You can either apply online, call in or give us a call.
You may borrow for almost anything. Typically most loans are for a car, a holiday, home improvements, an unexpected bill, school fees, consolidation of bills …but we do get the occasional strange request!

We will contact you with a free quote. If you would like to proceed with the application we will ask you for some additional information.

We will then do some credit checks and if your application is successful, we will contact you to call into the office to sign the paperwork. Most loans can be approved within 24 hours. If you need your money sooner, please let us know and will do our best to help.

After you have signed the loan paperwork, the application will be passed to our Accounts team. If the loan paperwork has been signed before 3.30pm, the Accounts team will transfer the funds to your bank account the same day. If the paperwork is signed after 3.30pm, the transfer will be made the following day.
Payments are usually made by Standing Order through your nominated bank account.
A “poor” or “bad” history may be due to a missed payment or outstanding debt on a past loan. This will have an impact on any future lending. However, if we feel that you are in a situation where you are able to pay off your loan despite your credit history, it is possible that we will lend to you.
As soon as you realise that you may be struggling, please don’t panic. Give us a call. We understand that financial problems can be worrying so we will do our best to help find a sensible solution.
